It helps if you include your iOS version, your iPhone model, and — if something went wrong on a specific change order — its number. Please don't send us your customer's personal details unless they're necessary to explain the problem.

Subscriptions and billing

Subscriptions are purchased through Apple, and Apple handles billing and refunds — we can't see your payment details or issue a refund ourselves.

If you cancel, you keep everything

Every change order you've made stays readable, searchable, shareable, and exportable. You can still write, price, and sign on your own phone. Nothing is deleted, hidden, or held hostage. Server-backed features — remote approval links, AI drafting above the free allowance, and backing up new changes — are what stop.

Common questions

My customer says the approval link doesn't work

Approval links expire after 30 days by default, and can be revoked. Open the change order, check the approval status, and send a fresh link. If they never received it, check the email address on the client record and look in their spam folder — the message comes from our delivery provider, not from your own address.

Nothing sends and I have no bars

That's expected and it's handled. Creating, pricing, photographing, signing, and exporting a PDF all work with no connection. Remote sends queue and say they're queued. The app will never tell you a customer has a document until the server confirms they do.

A draft came back missing something I said

Every extracted item quotes the words it came from, so you can check it fast. Anything it wasn't sure about is listed as missing rather than guessed at. Edit the draft directly — the document is yours, and nothing is sent until you send it.

The AI put a price in / left a price out

It can't put one in. The AI's response format has no field for a price, and any price-shaped value is stripped on our server and again on your device. Every number on your document comes from you or from your rate book. If a total looks wrong, check the line items and your markup and tax settings.

I need to change a change order my customer already approved

Editing an approved change order creates a successor revision. The approved version keeps its wording, totals, signature, and fingerprint exactly as they were — which is the point. Both stay in the history, and the history shows which superseded which.

How do I get my data out?

Settings → Export everything. It works on the free plan and after a cancellation. You get your records, your PDFs, and your attachments. Your rate book exports to CSV separately and imports the same way.

I got a new phone

If cloud backup was on, sign in with Apple on the new phone and your records come back. If it was off, restore the phone from an iPhone backup, or use an export from the old device. Backup is a convenience — keep your own exports of anything you can't afford to lose.

How do I delete my cloud data?

Settings → Cloud backup → Delete cloud data, or email us. The app offers a full local export first. Signed revisions are archived rather than destroyed, because deleting a signed record destroys evidence your customer may also be relying on.

Can I use it in Spanish?

Yes, and the two languages are separate settings. The app interface follows the per-app language in iOS Settings. The language your customer's document is produced in is chosen on the document itself.

Is a change order from this app legally binding?

We can't tell you that, and we don't claim it. The app documents and prices scope changes and records that a person signed a specific version. It does not provide legal advice, and electronic-signature and construction-contract requirements vary by state and country. Use wording your own attorney has approved for your business and location.

Privacy and security reports

If you've found a security issue, email support@memoize.studio with “Security” in the subject line and we'll get back to you quickly. Please don't test against other people's data.
